A New Computer Is Fast - How to Fix A Slow Computer?
A new computer is fast. As technology improves new
computers replace the old ones. Processor speeds improve, memory
increases, hard disks increase in size – we can pay a lot of money and
yes – all of a sudden we will get a faster computer.
However, we don’t need to spend all that cash on a new computer as soon
as our existing one gets a bit sluggish.
Why is a computer slow?
There are a huge range of reasons why your computer can be slow or
sluggish. We have mentioned many of these reasons before at

to even write about. These reasons for a

include hardware issues, corrupt programs, viruses, registry errors and
much more.
But how do we make our computer run like new again. How can we regain
that lost speed and fix a

The initial thought I know is – buy a new computer! But don’t do this
yet.
1. Remove what you do not need. Uninstall any programs you no longer
need at the control panel. This will take only a few minutes!
2. Install some more RAM. This is a quick
fix for a computer and can often be a

3. Review the programs that load when you pc boots. Make sure the ones
that don’t need to run are turned off.
4. Check you don’t have a virus
5. Defragment your hard drive – using the drive defragmentor!
6. Clean
your computer registry and make sure it is running effectively
7. Check you have enough free hard disk space
